What kind of hospitality do I expect from the Filipino people?

I still plan on visiting the Philippines soon and heard all about the hospitality from its 90 million citizens. For a time, I viewed numerous video clips about the friendliness of the people of Asia's first Christianized nation and was impressed by their smiles. Friendly faces galore. So how do I benefit from this? What kind of treatment do I get from them?
