34 wks and feel baby very far down?

Hi for the last week i have noticed my bump has dropped considerably but today i cant bend forward at all and feel baby very far down also have back ache? Is this normal at this stage as i never felt this with my 1st child but was 15 days late and had to be induced hoping this is a good sign that i will be nearer to my date this time?
