Induced labour or natural please please help!?

Im 40 + 3 overdue and extremely huge and fed up! This is my first baby and I would do anything to avoid being induced, as Ive heard its a 1000 times more painful and it terrifies me. Would you say that going into natrual labour is less painful? What would you prefer? Ive had a sweep a few days ago and didnt work for me. Im going to refuse induction and just wait until I get to 43 weeks.
