Cramps and exhausted at 39 weeks?

Hey I went to my doctor Tuesday and was not dilated or anything. Today I am 39 weeks and am having period like cramps in my belly and in my back too. No loss of mucus plug though. He has been really still the last two days as well. This is my first. So could this be a sign of labor?I have also been really exhausted the last two days and having nausea and no appetite. I am being induced Wednesday and am really hoping he will come on his own before then. Thanks
