How can I fatten up my Guinea Pig?

that does bother me that you kill them for meat because i grew up around Guinea pigs ! To fatten them up for there HEALTH i use carrots or lettuce. It just bothers me how you kill them :-( I am raised around chickens and ducks and i love them we dont kill them (We buy it from a store) Happy holidays
