Considering that conch is alive when you eat it, would you consider it raw meat?

This is an ongoing argument and I consider raw meat to be when the animal is dead, eg a chicken breast out of the food store, however when eating the bahamian delicacy Conch Fresh out of the water. it is alive when you eat it. I gave the illustration that a deer is running through the forest and a carnivore comes and takes a bite out of it, that part of the deer's body is still alive believe or not, when it is being eaten, When a part of a human is cut off, the doctors can chill it, and it can be stitched back and properly functioning. So after this, my question is would you consider an alive specimen, or animal raw meat? Someone please help me prove someone my point
