Italian cookies from pastry shops are good. Cannolis are great, but large & filling. Try to get the miniature ones. You said "acquire" so are you doing your own catering? If someone in your family has a Costco or BJ's membership, they have those frozen cream puffs & eclairs that people seem to go gaga over (think they have the cheesecake bites too).
